Here's how to make LS-F3+OSD F3 OSD integrated Flight Controller work for you!
Following are questions on F3 with integrated OSD Flight Controller (LS-F3+OSD v1), and answers from the manufacturer and tested by 65Drone. If you have other questions, add it to the comments and 65Drones will find them for you.
LS-F3+OSD is available at www.65drones.com
How do I update the OSD firmware?
1. Connect the OSDUP to the 3.3v as shown below (yellow line).
2. Connect the FC to your PC via USB and power the FC. You will see the green light on the side the OSDUP blinking.
3. Follow the MWOSD install guide to flash the OSD firmware. At Arduino IDE, make sure you use Arduino Pro or Pro Mini 5V, 16MHz, w/ ATmega328. (Go to menu Tools > Board > Arduino Pro or Pro Mini 5V, 16MHz, w/ ATmega328.)
How do I configure the OSD on the FC?
1. Connect the OSDUP to the 3.3v as shown above (yellow line).
2. Connect the FC to your PC via USB and power the FC. You will see the green light on the side the OSDUP blinking.
3. Use MWOSD-GUI to configure the OSD.
How do go into bootloader mode?
1. Connect the BT pins as shown below (red line).
What are the supported firmware?
Download and use this Cleanflight firmware (Cleanflight-LSF3) or Betaflight (Betaflight-LSF3). These work.
The latest Betaflight can found here: https://github.com/samuelpowell/betaflight/releases. Thanks Samuel.
How to connect a buzzer to the board?
Connect the + and - of the buzzer as shown below.

hi I have this board not sure its the same one Flip 32+ – F3 – OSD
I’m new to this so I got figured out were speed control plug in at but were do I plug the= power in from power board and were does my sbuss receiver plug in to at
Hi there, I’m trying to use a spektrum satellite but it doesn’t work.
I’ve tried the spektrum connector and uart2 and both doesn’t work.
My problem is that the sat doesn’t show any light. Except at the beginning when I plug the usb cable.
I’ll try tomorrow uart3.
Any help will be welcoming.
Thanks
Howdy all! I got this FC from RTFQ and the issue I’am having is the FC is doing a constant YAW circle when armed. I’ve calibrated the accelerometer and verified my trims are centered.
Any ideas?
Also I have the DELUXE version and with the linked 2.6.1 BETAFLIGHT the quad will not arm. The motors jerk and then stop. Rolled back to the FW on this page and it arms now just yaw issue.
@ Andrey – You may have to erase the OSD memory before uploading the OSD. You may to ensure hat OSDUP and v3.3 is bridged.
@W3DRK – Let me know you would like me to post the firmware here.
Do let me know the Q&A that needs to post here for benefit for all.
Some of these boards have a bug where the USD is not connected when powered by 5V. This is confirmed by manufacturer. 65drones is getting the updated version of the board.
Hi
I have a problem with the firmware:
Cleanflight has flashed correctly, but the firmware OSD is very strongly heated chip next to the bridge 2.3v and writes that little memory:
Arduino: 1.6.8 (Windows 7), Board: “Arduino Pro or Pro Mini, ATmega328 (5V, 16 MHz)”
Sketch uses 25.890 bytes (84%) of program storage space. Maximum is 30.720 bytes.
Global variables use 1.899 bytes (92%) of dynamic memory, leaving 149 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2.048 bytes.
Low memory available, stability problems may occur.

I got impatient and compiled Betaflight 2.6.1 for this FC. If anyone wants to try it, it’s available on this rcgroups.com post.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=34444324&postcount=44
I’ve only tested it on the “acro” version but hopefully it works on the “deluxe” as well.
if we dont want to use the osd are there any firmware 2.6.0 that will work? im using the current one from here and it works ok.
we are asking the manufacturer to make 2.6.0 available.
Could we get Betaflight 2.6.0 for the LS-F3+OSD? Thanks!
Thanks W3DRK.
Updated to add buzzer connection pin.
Submit a pull request for this board on Betaflight github repositories.
The buzzer works for me, the circuit on this FC sinks the buzzer current to ground. So to make the buzzer work you need to connect the buzzer positive lead to 5V and the buzzer negative lead to the BUZ pin on the FC.
Unfortunately the FC is designed with GND next to the BUZ pin instead of 5V so you cant just plug it in like any other FC.
Hope this helps!
Now, asking Boris to consider this as one of the official build. We will like your feedback so that we can help the manufacturer to improve this board.
e.g. button instead of solder pad for bootpin.
Sevet – I am checking with the manufacturer on how to connect the buzzer.
This board require a custom compiled Betaflight. The manufacturer is willing to share the design so that I can modify the betaflight and compile it in a much quicker way. But I do not know how to modify betaflight. Any help?
Jesper – On your OSD youtube video, try to upload another font using mwosd. Not all font works.
Jesper – USB and batt works for me. I got PPM RX working.
Can’t get the buzzer working :(
this is after flash of osd ?

sorry this is a waist of dollers.. damm… :(
got it flash now like ind video link.
BUT my pix is full of letters all over.. no osd :(

This report would have more information with “Show verbose output during compilation” enabled in File > Preferences.i dont get any green led flashing.
in this video thy use 5v to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvHK8eQAoMM
is it the same?
